CASE-ing the Catty Challenge #11 - Tags

It's Friday night and we're beginning a new round of challenges at CTC.  We've just spent the last ten weeks CASE-ing our way through the Annual Stampin' Up! ® Catalogue and it's now time to move onto the Holiday Catty.  Challenges will also be FORTNIGHTLY from now on to give you more time to play along.
For CTC #11 we're asking you to CASE a Tag.  So here's what you need to do - find a tag or set of tags that you like from within the Holiday Catalogue.  You can directly CASE (Copy and Share Everything) or use a sketch/layout, colour combo, embellishment, just to name a few examples, as a springboard for your own creations.

Make sure you visit the Design Team Member's blogs to check out their gorgeous creations -

Guidelines -
  • Create a new project for the current challenge.
  • Mention CTC Challenges in your blog post and link back here so others can join in on the fun.  Please ensure that you link up your blog post, not your whole blog.
  • Let us know what project you CASED or used as a 'springboard' and make reference to the page of your country's catalogue where you got your inspiration.
  • SUO (Stampin' Up! ® Only) products (retired or current) to be used in your projects for CTC Challenges.
  • Have fun and inspire others!

Please note that we have switched to FORTNIGHTLY CHALLENGES!

If you don't have a blog or on-line gallery and you would like to enter our challenges, please email your photo to - bronaddinktivedesigns@gmail.com with a short blurb and I will post it on our entrant's blog and link it up for you.

Our Top CASE for CASE-ing the Catty Challenge #10

Hi and welcome back to CASE-ing the Catty.  I've returned from Canberra (school trip with some of our senior students) just in time to post the Top CASE for this week's challenge.

Thank you to all the entrants that took the time out to wow us with your gorgeous Artistic Expression projects.  It was difficult for the DT to settle on only one winner so this week we have a tie!

Congratulations to Helen and Kirsty.

Helen's emboss resist feather card and Kirsty's floral CASE were beautiful examples of how you can gain inspiration from the catty.  Thanks for joining us at CTC.

CASE-ing the Catty Challenge #10 - Artistic Expression

Hello there.  I love Friday nights.  Not only is it the start of the weekend but it's also the launch of a brand new challenge at CASE-ing the Catty!  We have some gob smacking creations from the Design Team this week, inspired by the Artistic Expression Chapter of the Annual Stampin' Up! ® Catalogue.

This last chapter is divided into several sections -
  • One Stamp Set - three creative possibilities
  • Make it Totally You (MDS)
  • Two-Step Stamping
  • Creating Repeating Patterns
  • Texturing and Layering
  • Colouring and Blending
  • Watercolouring
  • The Art of Backgrounds
There's lots of projects created by the SU Design Team Artists within pages 154 - 175 to give you ideas for your next workshop technique demonstration or personal projects.

Here's what our very own CTC Designers came up with to inspire you to play along with our challenge this week -

What will you CASE from the last chapter of the catty?

Guidelines -
  • Create a new project for the current challenge.
  • Mention CTC Challenges in your blog post and link back here so others can join in on the fun.  Please ensure that you link up your blog post, not your whole blog.
  • Let us know what project you CASED or used as a 'springboard' and make reference to the page of your country's catalogue where you got your inspiration.
  • SUO (Stampin' Up! ® Only) products (retired or current) to be used in your projects for CTC Challenges.
  • Have fun and inspire others!

Our Top CASE for CASE-ing the Catty Challenge #8

Wow!  Thanks for the lovely amount of entries for our last challenge which focussed on the Card Giving Section of the Stampin' Up! ® Catalogue.  I think we will have to re-visit that chapter in 2015 as there's so much inspiration within those pages.

Each week we have three different team members vote for our Top CASE and this week it was unanimous.  A big congratulations goes to -

Jackie Noble

... for this gorgeous and very festive card.  Jackie took inspiration from the cute 'doggie' card found on page 112 of the SU Catalogue and made not just one, but a whole set of cards using the 'polaroid framelit' die.

Make sure you hop over to her blog, Creative Jax  to check out all the little details she has added to each card.  Each one is a work of art.

Here's a Badge for your blog, Jackie!

Make sure you join us at 7pm tonight for another round of CASE-ing the Catty.
